Search Moving Away From Google

Google used to be my default search engine. If I had a question, Google was the best place to start. That is becoming less and less true.

Search has turned into a more specific task, and often the top 10 results on Google aren’t what you’re looking for (they just rank best).

When searching for code or snippets, I go to Github.

When searching for opinions on current topics, I go to Medium.

When needing reviews or opinions on software, I go to Quora.

Google is slowly become less and less involved in my day to day Internet use.
